Ohai there! I’m Tiara, a 20 something internet and travel junkie and I have a big mole on my right foot.
My friends say the mole is a big indicator of wanderlust. I say life is too short not to see the world, mole or no mole. I’ve been blogging since 2007, using various domains till I finally moved everything over to Tiarara.com, where I still blog about anything under the sun.
I love to travel, always have, even as a kid. I can still remember my parents scolding me for being ‘layas’. I was always involved with extra curricular activities, went home late, and was often out of the house, even on weekends. I think I joined every camp I could join back in highschool. College was more fun of course, and gave me opportunities to travel around Mindanao for field trips, and Baguio and Dumaguete for seminars.
When I started working I made a promise to myself that I will celebrate my birthday by traveling to a new place each time. And so far I’ve kept this promise. But this year I couldn’t help myself from traveling more. I realized after spending a week in the beautiful island of Palawan that I wanted to see more, experience more of the world and of the country I live in. There’s too much to see, too many places I want to visit! And the list just keeps getting longer. :)
I didn’t really think of setting up my own travel blog, I was content with posting on Tiarara.com but friends (online and offline) told me I should and that I’ll probably regret it if I don’t chronicle all my travels. Teehee. They were right of course and so Tiaralets.com was born.
I plan to travel and see the world for as long as I can. Kahit uugod ugod na, keribels lang! Gala pa rin!
