I go where my feet (and budget) takes me

Off to CDO for the long weekend

BPO peeps are probably rejoicing, it’s thanksgiving weekend folks, no work for most of us who work for American clients and accounts. Yipee! My holidays are all messed up because even after 3 years in the BPO industry I still get confused with the holidays Americans celebrate and don’t even talk to me about the different time zones that they have.

ready to go

all set and ready to go -- my bag that I've had since 2000 and the goggles. Must not forget the goggles.

As of writing this I’m waiting for our flight to Cagayan de Oro which will be our base for the next few days. I’m traveling with 3 friends–the same group that I traveled with in El Nido.

el nido travel buddies

We met Zeli and Chris in El Nido and we were instant friends. :)

If the weather’s good today Arlyn and I will head to Dahilayan Adventure Park to try the longest zipline in the country. I’ve tried the fastest zip in Gensan, the highest zipline at 7 waterfalls Lake Sebu so the Dahilayan zip will pretty much complete the list. :D

Friday is white water rafting day and we’re taking the advance route. Cagayan is home to some of the most scenic routes and friends who’ve tried it promised us that it’s exhilarating. I’ve seen the photos and videos and I’m a little scared. Lol. Those rapids look dangerous. I think I’m more comfortable in the ocean. Hehe.

Saturday and Sunday will be spent in Camiguin, about 4 hours away from Cagayan De Oro where I can have my fill of the beach and of course, snorkeling! We’re also going to check out the sunken cemetery (creepy), the hotsprings, and the old churches on the island.

This is my last trip for this year and boy, what a year this was! It started a little rocky but now that it’s about to end I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m so effin happy I could burst. :D
